My release is showing up on the wrong artist profile

Modified on Wed, 20 Nov at 10:29 PM

Sometimes, when a release is distributed, it might get assigned to the wrong artist profile. This often occurs when channels automatically assign releases to profiles with similar or identical names.

Here's how you can address this issue:

Anghami:

  • Request it through Anghami for Artists.

Amazon

  1. Create an account on the Amazon Music for Artists platform (it doesn't matter if the artists are already verified or not).

  2. Fill in the form https://artists.amazon.com/reportArtistProfile.

Apple Music:

  1. Create an Apple ID (it doesn't matter if the artists are already verified or not. In the second case, it will help them to get verified later)

  2. Fill in the form https://artists.apple.com/contact-us.

Deezer:

Spotify:

Tidal:

  • Verified profile:
    • Request it through Tidal Artist Home.

  • do not have verified profile yet:

TikTok

TikTok has just activated a "report problem" option in the Sounds Tab, where TikTok accounts can directly report mapping problems.
