Having unwanted releases clutter up your artist profile can be frustrating. Here's how to take control and remove them yourself on some popular streaming services: (Note: This requires a verified artist page on the platform)
Spotify
- Visit: https://artists.spotify.com/en/home
- Log in with your Spotify for Artists credentials.
- Select your artist name.
- Click on "Another artist's music is on my profile."
- Enter the links to the unwanted releases (find instructions on getting Spotify release links here: [https://support.spotify.com/us/artists/article/finding-your-artist-url/]).
Apple Music
- Go to: https://artists.apple.com/support/
- Fill out the form with your contact and artist information.
- Select "Artist catalog issues" as the topic.
- Briefly describe the problem in the "Message" section.
- Paste the links to the unwanted releases under "Links for content that do not belong on this artist page." (Get artist page/album links by clicking on the three dots, choosing "Share album" or "Share artist," then "Copy link.")
Amazon Music
- Visit: https://artists.amazon.com/
- Sign in with your Amazon Music for Artists credentials.
- Select "My artist profile has incorrect content."
- Fill out the form:
- Paste the links to the unwanted releases OR search for them by title.
- Click "Submit" after completing the form. (Get artist page links by clicking the three dots and "Share this artist." Release links can be found in the Release by going to the three dots and then clicking on "Share this album").
Deezer
- Head to: https://creatorsupport.deezer.com/hc/en-us
- Fill out the form.
- Under "Issue Type," choose "Someone else's content is on my artist page."
- Briefly summarize the problem in "Issue description" and insert the links to the unwanted releases.
- Enter your artist ID (the number at the end of your Artist Page URL: https://www.deezer.com/us/artist/4864708).
- Submit the form.
Remember:
- It may take some time for these changes to reflect on the platform.
- These instructions are for verified artist pages only. For other platforms, you may need to contact their support directly.
By following these steps and providing the necessary information, you can reclaim your artist page and ensure it accurately reflects your music!
